At Humdingers, we aren’t afraid to spice things up a bit. We combine our love of flavor and the open flame to bring you the best-tasting fish and chicken around. Our food is always cooked to order too - fresh off the grill just the way you like it.

We have several options for dietary restrictions, from keto-friendly to gluten-free. Where we may lack in carbs, we make up in flavor with our house made sauces and spices. 

What is piri-piri?

Level up your dish with Humdingers' piri-piri sauce, crafted from the tiny piri-piri chili pepper of Southern Africa, where locals have been spicing up grilled fish and chicken with it for centuries. Originally founded by a South African, Humdingers continues to use the spice for a culinary experience that's not just flavorful but downright legendary.

Memphis grown, locally owned


Memphians and best friends, Robert and Jason, became the owners of this local gem in 2020 and immediately envisioned a restaurant that was an alternative to the ordinary fast-casual scene - a place where you can get fast, freshly made meals grilled over an open flame.

In addition to serving up great fare at Humdingers, they are passionate about supporting local high schools and speaking to students about the restaurant industry. They also play a role in Memphis' vibrant food truck scene. Outside of their professional lives, Jason and Robert love spending time with their families, fishing, and cheering for the Memphis Tigers.
